  • Grades 6-12 are served by LCVS.

  • No, students enrolled full time with LCVS are considered regular public school students. Our students do work online from home to complete their course work with some in-person, on campus workdays that occur throughout the school year. 

  • LCVS teachers are local teachers employed by Leon County Schools. With LCVS all funding stays in Leon County Schools. 

  • There are registration deadlines for full-time and part-time virtual students. Please see our enrollment windows page for the latest information on upcoming registration deadlines for students. 

  • If technical issues arise, your child's online teacher(s) will be there for initial support. You will also have access to a technical support team if the issue extends beyond the teacher's ability. LCVS operates a help desk from 8:00 am -8:00 pm each day Monday-Friday. This desk can be reached by emailing LCVS@leonschools.net 

  • Yes, all full-time LCVS students will have a Chromebook checked out to them for use during the school year. Students are also able to use their own device if preferred.
