Welcome to ParentSquare!
Our school is using ParentSquare! We are excited to let you know that this year we'll be using ParentSquare to communicate with you at the school and in your classrooms and groups.

Mission Statement:
We strive to foster a virtual learning environment that both meets the needs of the individual family while upholding academic integrity and promoting instructional innovation.
Grades: 6-12
Principal: Sarah Hembree
Assistant Principal: David Rudenborg
School Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Grades 6-12 are served by LCVS.
No, students enrolled full time with LCVS are considered regular public school students. Our students do work online from home to complete their course work with some in-person, on campus workdays that occur throughout the school year.
LCVS teachers are local teachers employed by Leon County Schools. With LCVS all funding stays in Leon County Schools.
There are registration deadlines for full-time and part-time virtual students. Please see our enrollment windows page for the latest information on upcoming registration deadlines for students.
If technical issues arise, your child's online teacher(s) will be there for initial support. You will also have access to a technical support team if the issue extends beyond the teacher's ability. LCVS operates a help desk from 8:00 am -8:00 pm each day Monday-Friday. This desk can be reached by emailing LCVS@leonschools.net
Yes, all full-time LCVS students will have a Chromebook checked out to them for use during the school year. Students are also able to use their own device if preferred.

This group is designed to allow our school to interact with individuals who are not already directly connected to our students or the broader community. Please use this to create a "Guest" account in our system! Note: If you are a contact for a student who may not have custodial rights (Step-Parent, Grandparent, Relative, Guardian, etc. ), you will need to join this group before attempting to join any group through a shared QR code/Link from a teacher, or group sponsor.
